Coffee is one of the most delicious items on the face of this planet. There are so many varieties of coffee that practically each bean you choose will give you a completely different flavor! This is one of the great reasons so many people enjoy a good cup of it in the morning. The fact that it provides you with the extra jolt you need to get through the day is definitely another plus.

Most people are accustomed to instant varieties but, even though they are delicious, they do not provide you with that complicated flavors that an actual bean would have. There are many types of beans on the market today but they have two major classifications: mild, Brazilian.

Milds are types of beans that are often considered to produce high quality cups of Joe with a high dose of caffeine. Milds are always grown in higher altitudes. These varieties are commonly used to make espresso. Brazilians are cheaper bean varieties that are grown in low altitude regions. The price is quite a bit less than milds, but they are still great quality.

Which type of coffee bean you choose depends a lot on your pallet preferences--and also your wallet's preferences! Some people do not enjoy drinking espresso type drinks, making Brazilians the obvious choice. You should try out both varieties to see if you enjoy one more than the other.

When you go to a shop to purchase your beans, you will notice the term roasts being thrown around. Roasting the beans is necessary if you want to grind it down. Very Dark Roasts are commonly used for making espressos. Dark roasts are less bitter than the espresso roast and also have less caffeine. This is perfect for a someone trying out a roast for the very first time.
