Coffee shops have become increasingly popular over the years. People used to go to a pub or a café to chill out and relax in but nowadays coffee shops are the place to be. coffee shops are informal and have a relaxing atmosphere with couches and comfortable chairs, people can sit back and chat to friends, drink their coffee and have some lunch or a little snack. There are many coffee shops to choose from these days some of the most popular include Pret a Manger, Starbucks, Café Nero, Costa Coffee and many more smaller chains as well.
Coffee drinks available in coffee shops
There is a huge range of drinks available in coffee shops, no surprising coffee is the biggest seller but they do offer cold drinks and tea as well. The coffee drinks that are available include espressos, cappuccinos, lattes, mocha, americano, and flat white. Different coffee shops have different choices of coffee drinks available and some are made slightly differently and so will taste different from shop to shop. Other drinks can be bought as well such as tea, flavoured fruit tea, orange juice, coke, lemonade, fruit juice, all the regular soft drinks you would expect.
Food available in coffee shops
Although coffee shops are primarily for coffee drinks just as with any café it serves a range of food. The food is usually limited to snacks such as sandwiches, muffins, cakes, toasties and so on. Not only can you sit in and chill out in coffee shops but you can also order to take away, so if you are at work or rushing around shopping and don’t have time to stop you can easily go into any coffee shop and take your coffee and sandwich away with you.
