Ascaso is a Spanish family company whose passion for coffee goes back over forty years. In 1962 Jesús Ascaso developed his first coffee maker for professional use and over the years since then he and his son, José Luis, have developed their extensive technical and professional knowledge and combined their tradition of craftmanship with today's espresso culture TO produce what they call "the ultimate espresso machine FOR coffee lovers".

The Uno has got the facility OF working WITH BOTH ground coffee AND E.S.E. coffee pods.

The boiler, brew head AND filter holder ARE ALL made OF solid brass. This ensures even AND consistent heat conduction AND retention throughout the system. It also has a powerful steam supply, making it child's play to produce delicious, dense milk froth for cappuccinos. The top of the machine acts as a cup warming plate. The Steel series, constructed from durable stainless steel, has a robust, eye catching appearance, it truly is a tribute to the Ascaso factory in Barcelona. Featuring an integral grinder, this high performance espresso machine package facilitates all the coffee based drinks you would ever wish to create, coffee, eapresso, latte, cappuccino, machiato and ristretto.

The Professional Boiler with a 225cc capacity is capable of operating under moderate conditions, with three separate thermostats to control the temperature of the coffee, steam and 1 to protect from overheating.

Fairtrade Organic is a pure Arabica coffee grown at a height of over 1200mtrs on the lush mountainsides of the Colombian highlands. The Colombian coffee industry is the giant of the fine mild, coffee-producing countries of the world with 12% of the world’s total coffee production. This coffee is generally full-bodied with a slight acidity, richly flavoured and produces one of the finest all day drinking coffees. One cup is never enough.
