The estate coffees, or ‘farm coffees’, are defined as coffees from one known origin (region or farm). They also include coffees supplied directly by one sole producer, with no blending. Estate coffees are the base of the specialty coffee market.

IPANEMA ESPRESSO®

The mixture of this unique coffee came after three years of consecutive tests and consists of a blend of washed, semi-washed and natural coffees. Due to its perfect balance of its characteristics IPANEMA ESPRESSO® results to a very fine brewing and grinding, perfect low acidity, full body and enhanced sweetness that leave a remarkable aftertaste. In other words, this coffee has the right composure for the preparation of a true quality espresso.
The Ipanema farm
The Ipanema farm is located at the town of Alfenas in Brazil and is directly related to the most tasteful and aromatic Brazilian coffee.

It is quite impressive to take into account the annual coffee tree production of 10.000.000, which sums up to 60.000 sacks of different Arabica varieties.

Verde coffee is cultivated in different areas of the farm, strictly following the most advanced techniques and values of the various social programs of the area. The final form of Verde coffee is differentiated according to the specifications of its native land. What many years now differentiate this farm is its commitment to a constant search and production of the best coffee, targeting and responding the most demanding markets.

MUESTRA CLARA the most representative sample of this exclusive production is Ipanema Bourbon, a selective variety Donde las haya, which has been granted the best awards in world contests.
Regarding global achievements, the IPANEMA ESPRESSO® coffee took part on the final ‘Gourmet World Cup Competition 2001’ that took place at Campinas (Brazil), and was awarded the 1st place.

The procedure implemented by Covim for the production of coffee in espresso pods starts with the selection of the plantations. It is followed by quality control, separate roasting of the different varieties and careful blending.
